Master’s Programs
You only need to take the first step to achieve your goals.
You must go through several steps.
If you want to study for a master’s degree in Germany, the most important things are careful planning, finding the right master’s program options, and properly completing the application processes.
Planning your project is the most important thing.
It is very important to keep in mind that the application processes in Germany are usually annual. This means that for the two available semesters (summer semester and winter semester), most master’s programs open their calls for applications at specific times. Therefore, it is recommended to start preparing at least 7 to 10 months before the date you plan to apply.
Here you can see an estimated month-by-month breakdown of the steps to follow. For the winter semester, classes start in October and end in March of the following year. If your goal is to begin in this period, we recommend starting the process at least one year in advance. This is because, for students who graduated outside the European Union, most applications open in February and close between April and May.
